Job summary

MSI Defense Solutions in Mooresville, NC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test and deliver electrical, electronic, and controls projects for customers. You will work across programming, electrical, and mechanical domains, with strong emphasis on embedded controls and system integration.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering Operations. Work is primarily in-office full-time with occasional testing travel; potential for team leadership development over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or accredited program.
• Able to interact under pressure and stay organized.
• Experience with Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Specify hardware and programming for electrical control systems.
• Design integration of electronic hardware with mechanical components.
• Interface with automotive networks (CAN, J1939, LIN).
• Maintain project documentation, schematics, and revision history.
