Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• EIT certification or FE exam progress preferred.
• Approximately 3+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience.
• Experience with commercial building electrical systems and AutoCAD is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial and institutional building projects.
• Prepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Assist with the design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Gain exposure to fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and other building technology systems.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other project team members.
• Participate in field investigations and construction site visits.
• Review equipment submittals and support projects through the construction phase.
• Apply NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes to project designs.
