Job summary

DEVITA is seeking Electrical Engineers-in-Training (EITs) in Charlotte, NC to join our full-service engineering team. You will contribute to the design and drafting of commercial and institutional electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed P.E.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of design experience, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and EIT certification, plus strong Autodesk Revit MEP and MS Office skills to handle multiple fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years' experience in the design and drafting of commercial or institutional electrical systems.
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (E.I.T.).
Ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
Proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Creating efficient, cost-effective commercial and institutional facilities design.
Designing and drafting commercial electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and building systems.
Working under the direct supervision of a licensed P.E.
