Job summary

DoorDash Air is hiring an experienced electronics engineer to own critical subsystems of aircraft and ground systems. You will drive electrical design from concept through field deployment, coordinating with firmware, systems, mechanical, supply chain, and reliability teams.

With a background in electrical engineering and 5+ years of circuit design, you will prototype, test, and iterate to optimize sensors, actuators, and control loops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronics circuits in cross-functional environments.
• Experience building prototypes and selecting sensors/actuators for applications.
• Ability to debug complex systems including signal integrity, EMI, and firmware bugs.

Responsibilities

• Own critical subsystems of aircraft and ground systems.
• In one year, designs operate in the field and in the air.
• Collaborate closely with firmware, systems and mechanical engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and reliability teams.
