Job summary

GOWell seeks an experienced electrical engineer to conduct conceptual and detailed designs for downhole instruments across acoustics, electromagnetic, and measurement domains. You will lead EE design, testing, system integration, and V&V, while quickly adopting new technologies and coordinating with vendors for quality control.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Applied Mathematics).
• Prefer 3–5 years of industrial experience in downhole tools, instrument research and engineering.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and modeling/design tools such as Altium, LTSpice, SolidWorks, HSPICE, Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conceptual, research and detailed electrical engineering designs in acoustics, electromagnetic, measurement, wireline, production, telemetry for downhole instruments and tools.
• Lead EE design, tests, system integration, V&V as assigned.
• Use CAD/EDA tools to simulate design performance and perform PCB layout and PCBA processing with QA checks.
