GOWell seeks an experienced electrical engineer to conduct conceptual and detailed designs for downhole instruments across acoustics, electromagnetic, and measurement domains. You will lead EE design, testing, system integration, and V&V, while quickly adopting new technologies and coordinating with vendors for quality control.
The role requires proficiency with MATLAB and CAD/EDA tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and production documentation with strong emphasis on
·Conduct conceptual , research and detailed electrical engineering designs in the specific or combined areas of (acoustics, electromagnetic, measurement, wireline, production, , telemetry, etc.) for downhole instruments and tools.
Role and Responsibilities
·Work with management of projects including EE Design and tests, system integration, V&V, other related responsibilities and be willing to lead projects as assigned
·Learn and understand new technologies and tools for downhole HT instrument designs/tests quickly
·Evaluate materials in order to determine the most durable resource for a given application.
·Use tools and computer-aided design software to simulate design performance.
·Conduct electronics and tool production controls including planning, scheduling, purchasing and tracking (logistics) for parts
·Perform EE design, schematic, PCB layout, PCBA processing from vendors and conducting quality assurance checks/inspections.
·Communicate and coordinate with PCB/PCBA vendors for quality control and schedules.
·Work with project staff on System Module and Integration tests.
·Suggest improvements or provide recommendations during the R&D process.
·Control Production Documentation Updates and Engineering Design Change Management during production.
·Assist with Production Inventory Management and Obsolete Part controls.
·Assess available information for research work.
·Evaluate competitions in technology and engineering.
·Understand the concept of detailed engineering using verification and validation (V&V) planning.
·Participate in Project to understand/follow Tool Designs in EE and ME.
·Participate in Design Review Meetings and make suggestions concerning quality assurance and manufacturability improvements
·Will be an Intellectual Property (IP) contributor.
·Assist with projects to optimize the engineering design.
·Participate in Quality Control for pilot production manufacturing.
·Work with multiple projects simultaneously based on the assignments.
·Continuously fully comply with all regulatory related requirements.

Skills and Experiences
·Prefer 3-5 years of Industrial experiences in downhole tools, instrument related research and engineering.
·Efficient in MatLab, and other modeling/design tools such as Altium, LTSpice, SolidWork, HSPICE, SimuLink, etc.
·Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.
·Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, at proficient levels.
·Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
·Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
·Degree in Science or Engineering in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Applied Mathematics, etc.
