Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Journeyman Electrical Engineer for Hill AFB, UT to support C3BM programs. The role demands active Secret clearance, DoD experience, and the ability to work across IPTs to develop, test, and sustain complex electrical systems for air force platforms.

The candidate will perform life cycle activities from concept through deployment, ensuring system integrity and OSS&E integration, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and DoD partners.

Qualifications

  • Citizen must be a US citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance required and must be able to maintain it.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3 years of DoD experience, or 7 years of related experience incl. 5 in DoD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Electrical Engineering support for programs and projects through the IPT lifecycle.
  • Conduct system engineering reviews across concept to deployment ensuring OSS&E integration.
  • Translate DoD requirements into system requirements for design and evaluation.
  • Review system baselines for architecture interoperability and compliance.
  • Support test planning, execution, and evaluation to meet technical objectives.
  • Coordinate DoD test resources and monitor T&E progress across timelines.
  • Assist with program documentation, risk tracking, and vendor submissions.
  • Support Foreign Military Sales as needed.
