Job summary

DCS Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the USAF C3BM at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT. You will perform electrical engineering across the system lifecycle within IPTs, emphasizing OSS&E and DoD acquisition processes.

Responsibilities include translating DoD requirements into system specs, conducting architecture reviews, and supporting test planning and evaluation. A strong DoD background and active clearance are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree from ABET accredited university and 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 3 of which must be in the DoD or 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Electrical Engineering support for programs and projects, ensuring the successful research, design, development, installation, testing, and operation of systems under the IPT.
  • Apply practical engineering knowledge across a broad range of established system engineering principles, with OSS&E integrated into all activities.
  • Requires strong systems engineering expertise with a focus on electrical engineering, understanding DoD acquisition processes, and ability to analyze requirements throughout the lifecycle.
  • Conduct system engineering reviews and analyses throughout the lifecycle, from concept through operations & support.
  • Develop and refine system features, enhancing or validating existing processes, data, methods or techniques.
  • Assist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements to guide design and testing.
  • Review system design baselines to assess architecture and interoperability requirements.
  • Support development of system specifications and architecture products.
  • Perform independent analysis of engineering change proposals and supplier submissions for government acceptance.
  • Conduct life cycle cost evaluations on proposed systems and components.
  • Assist with T&E activities, including test planning, execution, and result assessments.
  • Evaluate and coordinate availability of major DoD and civilian test resources and facilities.
  • Support scheduling and securing required test resources in alignment with program objectives.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on T&E efforts to ensure timelines and requirements are met.
  • Assist in designing, planning, executing, analyzing, reporting, and documenting T&E programs including certifications and compliance.
  • Contribute to technical plans by reviewing documents, participating in working groups, tracking risk, and supporting studies to evaluate alternatives.
  • Provide support for Foreign Military Sales as required.
