Job Summary
Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as an Electrical Engineer. Must be a US citizen and hold an active DoD security clearance (Secret). This role focuses on problem resolution, troubleshooting, and production support.
Base Pay Range
$62.00/hr – $67.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Make quick assessment of a problem, identify required information, evaluate resources, compare urgency, and develop a troubleshooting path.
- Communicate plan to cross‑functional teams and drive updates and status.
- Resolve production and supplier issues, maintain technical data, create change documentation using cPDM, and present change packages on Review Board/Change Board.
- Coordinate team members and resources to drive issues to completion.
- Participate in peer reviews of other engineers from Engineering and Operations groups.
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, programmable power supplies, spectrum/network analyzers, and related tools.
- Analyze defect and yield data, implement process improvements to reduce recurring failures.
- Perform other general electrical engineering tasks relating to production support.
Required Skill Sets
- Experience with digital, analog, RF, or mixed‑signal testing/debugging of circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.
- Root‑cause corrective action investigation experience.
- Proven experience in manufacturing/test support of electronic assemblies.
- Proficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
- Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
- U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or similar field).
