We are a MEP Engineering firm located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Currently, we are seeking a SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER and an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/DESIGNER to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment.

Our Electrical Engineers are responsible for designing building Electrical systems and producing electrical construction documentation for commercial and institutional projects, with an emphasis on educational facilities.

Job Functions And Primary Responsibilities

• Design of Electrical Systems including medium to low voltage power distribution, emergency power generation, lighting and lighting control, low voltage systems such as fire alarm, security, and telecommunications.
• Conduct short circuit and coordination studies.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to review, define, and design to meet customer requirements.
• Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with building and energy codes.

Candidate Background

• 3+ years of experience in MEP Electrical Design for ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/DESIGNER roles.
• 7+ years of experience for SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER roles.
• Proficiency with REVIT and AutoCAD software.
• PE license is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
