Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. in Kingsport, TN seeks an Electrical Engineer to support electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and medium voltage power systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and drives.

The engineer will design hardware and software for new projects and collaborate with Maintenance on capital initiatives. Qualified candidates must have a BSEE and at least 4 years of manufacturing experience; knowledge of medium voltage power systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BSEE and have 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems is a plus.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and drives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and medium voltage power systems.
• Involved in hardware/software design for new projects (PLC/HMI/drives).
• Will work closely with Maintenance on capital project initiatives.
