Job summary

Entegris seeks a Designer/Drafter Co-Op at its San Luis Obispo, CA site for the Spring 2027 season. This 6-month assignment involves creating detailed schematics and drawings with SolidWorks, collaborating with engineers and technicians, and performing ECRs during manufacturing.

You will also assist in new product development while maintaining high drawing accuracy. Ideal candidates are enrolled Mechanical Engineering students graduating Spring 2027 or later, available for 40 hours/week

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineers and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to create detailed schematics and designs using SolidWorks.
• Perform Manufacturing Redlines and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Assist in drafting drawings for each systems.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure precise and high-quality designs.
• Any other duties as assigned.
