Job summary

WHB Engineers is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our Southern California offices. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicate well, work independently, and contribute positively to the business. A PE license in California or active pursuit of one is preferred.

Responsibilities include design of projects, preparing proposals and schedules, and assisting in project management to keep scope on track and on budget. AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of practical work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and electrical building codes.
• California PE license or pursuing one.

Responsibilities

• Design of projects.
• Preparation of proposals and fee estimates.
• Development of work plans and schedules.
• Assist in project management to ensure on schedule, within budget, and meeting client requirements.
• Perform studies, calculations, designs, and preparation of plans and reports.
