WSP is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Minneapolis, MN office to join the Property & Buildings Team. You will design and support electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, using AutoCAD or Revit, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of design experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a drive to deliver

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering design, preferably within building systems or consulting environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for building system design.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, compile, and analyze technical data to support design decisions and project execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Assist in reviewing third-party design documents and project plans.

Your Impact

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering design, preferably within building systems or consulting environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for building system design.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Experience supporting healthcare, higher education, commercial, or science & technology projects.

Compensation:

Expected Salary: $82,80- $118,400

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
