Job summary

Acuity Inc. builds future engineers through a two-year rotational program in Atlanta that exposes participants to new product development, sustaining engineering, and diverse rotational tracks.

You will rotate every six months to gain business acumen and technical proficiency, working across Optical Engineering, firmware, and product management domains. The program emphasizes learning agility, ownership, and collaboration, with onsite work in Atlanta and a July 12, 2027 employment start.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering or Electrical is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills are required.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Intermediate general proficiency with AI tools is required.
• Demonstrated exposure to electronic component selection, circuit analysis, and SPICE simulation.
• Exposure to Altium Designer or other CAD tools.
• Exposure to developing products for the lighting and/or LED industry.
• Exposure to firmware development or embedded systems programming.
• Availability to travel based on business needs (up to 20%).
• Leadership experience influencing change is highly preferred.
• Team-oriented with initiative is highly preferred.
• Less than two years of related work experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotational program with multiple engineering tracks to build breadth.
• All Engineering BUILD Specialists rotate into New Product Development and Sustaining/VAVE.
• Explore areas like Optical Engineering and Outsourced Product Development.
• Engage in Product Support, Product Management and Project Management rotations.
• Experience Tech Support, Field Service, Post Sales and Labs & Certifications.
