Job summary

Jordan & Skala Engineers in Houston seeks an Electrical Engineer/Designer to own electrical system design for new construction and renovations in a BIM-driven Revit environment.

You will coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and life-safety teams, develop plans, risers, wiring diagrams, and support construction through submittals and RFI responses. Licensure support and strong code knowledge encouraged; telework options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical building systems design (consulting engineering preferred).
• Strong working proficiency in Revit (electrical design within a BIM workflow).
• Solid understanding of electrical design fundamentals, applicable codes, and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution systems for new construction and renovations.
• Support lighting design, layouts, controls, and documentation.
• Coordinate electrical design with MEP and architectural teams in a Revit/BIM workflow.
