Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop an Automated Test System. You will select, integrate, and program COTS modules, design signal paths, and document the test system design.

The role involves understanding UUT electrical characteristics and developing test plans for UUTs. The position requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• Experience programming in C#, including software interacting with hardware and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate electrical hardware for automated test systems, including signal interfaces and data acquisition.
• Develop software in C# to interface with test equipment and hardware components.
• Select, integrate, and troubleshoot COTS test equipment (PXI, instrumentation, power supplies).
• Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, BOMs, ICDs, and test plans.
• Support prototype bring-up, system integration, verification, validation, and customer briefings.
