Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and implement automated test systems. You will develop hardware interfaces, write C# software to control test equipment, and document the system architecture from schematics to BOMs.

The role involves collaboration across hardware and software teams. The position requires 5+ years in electrical engineering, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience programming in C# and interfacing with hardware/instrumentation.
• Ability to develop automated test solutions and document designs.
• Knowledge of PXI/PCIe hardware and test equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate electrical hardware for automated test systems including signal interfaces and UUT integration.
• Create software in C# to interface with test equipment and hardware components.
• Document schematics, ICDs, BOMs, and test plans; support system verification and maintenance.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams to deploy reliable test architectures.
