Qualifications

  • BSEE degree and 3+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience with analog circuit design principles (filters, resonance, ground loops, switching dynamics, loss calculations).
  • Lab testing with oscilloscope, signal generator, power supply, spectrum analyser.

Responsibilities

  • Review vendors’ capabilities to support product development.
  • Select instruments and test equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
  • Conduct experimental tests and evaluate and report results.
  • Determine electrical system design approaches and parameters.
  • Hardware testing and troubleshooting.
  • Develop test procedures to verify performance of designs.
  • Create engineering drawings, test reports, work instructions, etc.
  • Work with a team to develop electrical system requirements and architecture.
  • Work effectively in a cleanroom environment.
  • Define and manage sub-contracted activities.
  • Provide troubleshooting and repair assistance to support manufacturing.
  • Report progress to program management and the customer on a regular basis.
