Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Integrated Analog/Digital Design Level 3/4 in Sunnyvale, CA to develop and support analog and digital circuitry for surface ship and submarine launch control systems for the US Navy. Responsibilities include hardware design, testing, and integration with data acquisition and control systems.

Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years of experience, proficiency in MATLAB/LTspice/pSpice, and expertise in UART/I2C/CANBUS and high-speed Ethernet, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years for Level 3, or 8+ years for Level 4.
Expertise in analog (op-amps, regulators, RF) and digital (logic, microprocessors, FPGAs) circuits.
Experience with UART, I2C, CANBUS, and high-speed Ethernet.
Proficiency in EMI/EMC troubleshooting and complex PCB layout.
Firmware development in C, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

Design and test analog and digital circuitry for launcher systems.
Develop and maintain data acquisition and control interfaces.
Support and troubleshoot electromechanical hardware and cables.
Collaborate across engineering teams to address field issues.
