Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering, currently or recently doing the technical work as an individual contributor.
• In progress Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical/electronics engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong command of circuit analysis and design tradeoffs, and the ability to defend component-level and system-level decisions.
• Fluency in the tools of the field: circuit simulation (SPICE and similar), schematic capture and PCB tools, lab instruments, and MATLAB or Python for engineering analysis.
• Strong written communication and the ability to articulate why an answer is wrong, not only that it is.
• General familiarity with AI/LLM tools (user-level is fine), or the ability to pick them up quickly.
• Real weekly capacity: the project prioritizes 30-40 hrs/week; part-time is considered.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated AI trainer to join our team. We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring the judgment you have already built over years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware. We bring engineering problems the models cannot yet solve on their own.

Responsibilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
