Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support design development for an autonomous vehicle power distribution and controls platform. You will work on defining requirements, integrating electrical systems, and driving parts through validation toward production.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical or related field and 5+ years in automotive engineering, with strong CAD skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Software Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of an Automated Driving System (ADS) Level 4 platform including power distribution, electrical architecture integration, harness design and software development.
• Design and release of electrical and electronic ADS components and systems for heavy duty commercial vehicles.
• Develop technical requirement specifications for redundant power distribution and other ADS components.
• Integrate ADS electrical/electronic features into Peterbilt/PACCAR vehicles.
• Plan and track validation testing of components and support product launches at assembly plants.
