What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic components, circuitry, control systems, and related hardware.
- Define design approaches, parameters, functional requirements, and component selections.
- Analyze equipment performance, conduct laboratory tests, and evaluate results to validate designs.
- Develop electrical power distribution and control system solutions.
- Troubleshoot system issues using network sniffers, protocol analyzers, diagnostic tools, and equipment logs.
- Apply structured problem-solving methods to investigate failures and drive corrective actions.
- Support design reviews, product testing, supplier assessments, and manufacturing activities.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and collaborate with suppliers during product development.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience designing, testing, troubleshooting, or supporting electronic hardware, electrical systems, or control systems.
- 2+ years of experience supporting power distribution, control system design, or electromechanical system integration.
- 2+ years of experience applying design-for-serviceability, design-for-manufacturability, design-for-reliability, or similar engineering principles.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting complex systems using diagnostic tools, system logs, network sniffers, protocol analyzers, or comparable test equipment.
- 2+ years of experience performing structured root-cause analysis using methods such as 5-Why, 8D, fishbone diagrams, or equivalent techniques.
- 3+ years of experience designing electrical power distribution, power conversion, control, or automation systems.

- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, test results, electrical documentation, and system data.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, robotics, industrial automation, or complex electromechanical products.
- Experience developing requirements and driving functional design solutions in fast-paced engineering teams.
- Experience with circuit protection, wiring, controls, sensors, motors, and embedded or industrial communication interfaces.
- Experience working with suppliers and evaluating component capabilities.
- Familiarity with reliability testing, design verification, failure analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Ability to balance technical performance, cost, serviceability, and manufacturability in design decisions.
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional problem-solving activities.
