Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain electrical test equipment used in development and manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot circuits using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other lab gear; support sustaining engineering.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and receive mentorship from engineers.

What You Will Do:
  • You will support the design, development, and documentation of electronic control systems for aerospace products.
  • You will build, prototype, debug, and evaluate electronic hardware and plan, execute, and document qualification and validation testing.
  • You will operate laboratory equipment, collect and analyze test data, and communicate results.
  • You will design, build, and maintain electrical test equipment used during product development and manufacturing.
  • You will troubleshoot electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other laboratory equipment and support sustaining engineering activities for products currently in production.
  • You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers and technicians.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology,Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, collecting and analyzing test date, and communicating those results.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands‑on experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or co-ops involving electronics design, prototyping, soldering, or debugging.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other electronic test equipment.
  • Interest in laboratory testing and hands‑on product development and strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
