Job summary

Verustruct in Torrance, CA designs, builds, and tests circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and embedded firmware for robotic construction equipment. You will work on hardware integration with motors and sensors, validate designs, and document engineering work as part of cross-functional teams.

You will apply PCB design, embedded C, and hardware testing skills to diagnose failures, improve the robotic platform, and ensure robust wiring and interfaces across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechatronics or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of electronics and control systems.
• Experience with PCB design, embedded C/C++, hands-on hardware testing, motor drivers, sensors, wiring, and communication interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and validate circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
• Integrate motors and sensors into robotic platforms.
• Investigate hardware and firmware failures and document findings.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, completed in 2026 or earlier, plus foundational knowledge of electronics and control systems. Candidates should have experience with PCB design, embedded C or C++, hands-on hardware testing, motor drivers, sensors, wiring, and communication interfaces, and be able to work on-site in Torrance.
