Job summary

You will design, troubleshoot, and upgrade electrical equipment, develop drawings with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical, and support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong experience with high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-voltage electrical systems and power distribution in an industrial facility.
• Troubleshoot distribution equipment, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers.
• Develop and update electrical drawings, schematics, and control documentation in AutoCAD.
• Support electrical projects including equipment installations and machine upgrades.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (RSLogix, Studio 5000) and related controls.
• Support HMI/SCADA systems (Wonderware, iFIX) and industrial robotics.

Job description

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer at their flagship manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for maintaining high-voltage electrical systems and power distribution in an industrial manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, circuit protection, and related industrial equipment.
• Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and control documentation using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Support electrical projects involving facility power distribution, equipment installations, machine upgrades, and system modifications.
• Troubleshoot and support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, industrial controls, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix and Studio 5000.
• Support HMI, SCADA, and controls systems, including Wonderware and iFIX.
• Troubleshoot industrial robots, including Motoman or similar robotic systems.
• Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and NFPA 79 when designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong experience with high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industrial environment.
