Job summary

Stolle Machinery Co, LLC in Sidney, OH seeks an Electrical Engineer to provide control systems engineering for all product lines. The role covers CAD drawings, panel layouts, and BOM creation, with emphasis on CE/NEC compliance and integration of PLC/HMI platforms.

You will work with Allen-Bradley and Siemens products, develop/ troubleshoot control systems, and coordinate with vendors to ensure project success. A BSEE with 5–10 years of industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSEE Degree with 5-10 years post graduate industry experience
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings
• Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software including applications and programming
• Must possess effective skills in mathematics, reading, writing, speaking, listening, communicating, critical thinking, decision making and complex problem solving
• Desired software and hardware: AutoCAD Electrical

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings to ensure conformity to standards and customer requirements
• Operate CAD software to perform engineering tasks
• Strong experience in AutoCAD for schematics, panel layouts and BOMs following CE and NEC
• Strong experience with programming and troubleshooting on Allen-Bradley Control Logix and Siemens Portal Platforms
• Confer with engineers, customers or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products
• Direct or coordinate construction, support, documentation or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes or customer requirements
• Interface with vendors/suppliers regarding parts deviations
• Create and maintain controls systems BOMs and deliver prints and other technical documents
• Design, implement or improve electrical instruments, equipment or systems for industrial purposes
• Investigate customer complaints, determine nature and extent of problem and recommend remedial measures
• Oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects

To provide control systems, electrical engineering for all product lines offer by Stolle Machinery.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIESinclude the following:

• PLC programming experience for industrial machinery, primarily with Allen Bradley or Siemens products.
• HMI/MMI programming experience for industrialmachinery
• Troubleshooting industrial machinery systemsincluding:

  • AC Variable FrequencyDrives
  • Motion Controlsystems
  • Industrial Control networks such as DeviceNet, Profibus andEthernet.
• CAD skills, preferably AutoCAD Electrical and experience designing andcreating:

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:
