Job summary

IAPMO in San Jose, CA is seeking highly skilled Electrical Engineers at mid and senior levels to join a expanding team focused on innovative electrical systems across advanced projects. You will design, develop, test, and optimize electronics, collaborate across mechanical and software groups, mentor juniors, and lead reviews while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years hands-on experience in electrical design, analysis, and system development from prototype to production.
  • Proficiency with schematic entry tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
  • Understanding of PCBA manufacturing process and DFx principles.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit theory, power systems, and electromechanical design.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

We are seeking highly skilled Electrical Engineers at both mid and senior levels to join our expanding team. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, demonstrated experience in project execution, and a passion for innovation and teamwork. Senior candidates will be expected to lead projects and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with software (C, C++, Assembly) and scripting languages (Python, Perl)
  • Experience with circuit simulation software
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL
  • Proficiency in PCB layout creation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence)
  • Experience with regulatory compliance standards and testing
  • Experience in managing project schedules and budgets
