Job summary

Varex Imaging Corporation in Salt Lake City seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate production control equipment for our manufacturing lines.

You will oversee installation and maintenance of equipment, analyze performance, and contribute to uptime through proactive maintenance and technical support across engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • 4+ years of PLC programming experience (Siemens and Honeywell controls).
  • 4+ years of experience in PCB layout and control systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in high power distribution and equipment electrical harnessing.
  • Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and editing relevant technical documents.
  • Familiarity with latest industry tools, techniques, and standards.

Job description

Overview

Electrical Engineer designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment or other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters, analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results, selects components based on specifications and reliability, and may review vendor capability to support product development.
