The person will work with machine electrical in the sense of wiring harness on an engine.

Job Responsibilities

• Create models and drawings for various electrical components or assemblies (e.g., sensor groups, wiring harnesses, cables, and mounting brackets).
• Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models.
• Create and/or modify wiring schematics.
• Interpret prints and engineering standards.
• Communicate technical information to team members, other engineering teams and suppliers.

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 0-2 years’ experience.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in application of PTC Creo or other parametric 3D modeling tools.
• Experience with electrical design pertaining to automotive or heavy equipment systems.
• Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience.
• Experience with modeling/designing in 3D parametric modeling software (e.g., Creo, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.).
• Experience with application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
