Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on designing, developing, and testing PLC-based control systems, with emphasis on LabVIEW and Veristand, across multiple hardware platforms.

The candidate will provide technical leadership, define system requirements, and guide junior engineers while integrating with internal teams to troubleshoot and implement new solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years PLC programming experience with multiple hardware platforms.
• Must demonstrate ability to write code using an object oriented approach utilizing function blocks or add on instructions.
• Must have experience architecting and writing code from scratch.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems.
• 6+ years experience with LabVIEW, Veristand, Python, and .NET; LabVIEW experience is a MUST.

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 06+ months contract with a client located in Phoenix AZ

Pay Range: $54/hr. - $57.00/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Responsibilities:

You Must Have:
