Electrical Engineer Job Description:

Execute Electrical Harness and Schematic projects. Conduct design analysis on components and assemblies to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability. Coordinate with engineering personnel to ensure project completion.

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five years of related experience.

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Harness Routing & Packaging in heavy equipment domain.
• Hands-on experience with Creo Schematic/Diagram, Part Design, Assembly, and Drafting.
• Ability to create highly integrated designs within machine platforms using Creo.
• Experience in verifying harness design rules, creating illustration drawings, and layout preparation.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to interpret Schematics / Circuit designs.
• Good understanding of components used in wiring harness design (wire types, fuses, relays, controllers, connectors, coverings, support clips, etc.).
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and automotive wire harness manufacturing is advantageous.
• Willingness to work with multiple harness and schematic development tools and interact with customers to provide solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with CAD software.
• Previous experience with NPI processes.
