Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an experienced electrical design engineer for vehicle wiring and harness development in Orrville, Ohio. The role focuses on creating layouts, schematics, and BOMs to meet program requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with CAN networks, automotive wiring standards, and CAD tools such as Creo Cabling/Schematics, Windchill, and related validation tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
• Working experience in off highway, automotive domain is preferred.
• Good Knowledge of New product development Cycle & should have experience of atleast 01 complete NPD Project.
• Good experience in wiring schematics, wiring harnesses, and electronic components.
• Strong background of Wiring Harness Design Standards & components knowledge of electrical and wiring harness.
• Knowledge of selecting and/or designing components for function, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Has manufacturing knowledge of wiring harness and industry exposure is added advantage.
• CAD Tools working knowledge: Creo Cabling, Creo Schematics, Windchill is must.
• Multi-faceted knowledge of vehicle electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems.
• Experience with electric vehicles
• Experience with Human-Machine Interfaces
• Working knowledge of Controller Area Networks (CAN), such as SAE J1939
• Knowledge of multimeters / oscilloscopes, CAN tools, and proprietary programming tools for design, validation, and interrogation
