Job summary

The Structures Company in Orlando, FL is hiring an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role involves hands-on testing, debugging, and programming of IRST production WRAs, with access to Windchill for drawings and process steps.

The candidate will work with a weekend floor-support team to resolve issues and ensure traceability and compliance. Active Secret clearance is required, along with at least 3 years of hardware troubleshooting and experience with Windchill.

Qualifications

• 3+ years troubleshooting hardware.
• 3+ years testing, debugging, and programming IRST production WRAs including receiver, processor, IMU, pod, and related circuit-card assemblies.
• 3+ years using Windchill to retrieve drawings, reference manufacturing process plans, and record each process step.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and programming of IRST production WRAs (receiver, processor, IMU, pod, circuit-card assemblies).
• Retrieve drawings and reference manufacturing process plans using Windchill and document each process step.
• Isolate and resolve production issues independently and as part of weekend floor-support team.
• Collaborate with day-shift engineers, suppliers, and quality personnel on findings and corrective actions.
• Update work instructions, non-conformance reports, and configuration data for traceability.
• Participate in root-cause analyses and recommend process improvements to enhance yield and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and classified-information requirements on the floor.
• Troubleshoot hardware to isolate and resolve production issues.
