Job summary

The Structures Company, a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency, seeks an Electrical Engineer for a contract role in Fort Worth, TX. You will interpret wiring harnesses and schematics, draft wiring diagrams in CATIA CADAM, and release drawings as Build-To-Package content for aerospace programs.

Responsibilities include updating F-16 electrical harness architectures, documenting parts and version data, and applying CAD tools to develop BTP content.

Qualifications

• Must have a U.S. Person status per ITAR rules.
• BS in Electrical/Electronics/ Electromechanical engineering required.
• 4+ years electrical engineering experience required.
• 2+ years wiring harness, schematic, or diagram design required.
• 2+ years CAD tool usage with CATIA, Capital, or similar required.
• 2+ years Build-To-Package (BTP) creation including parts list and application list required.
• Experience interpreting and drafting wiring diagrams and schematics required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret redlined wiring harnesses, diagrams, and schematics to update F-16 electrical harness and interconnect architecture.
• Draft wiring schematics, diagrams, and related drawings in CATIA CADAM Drafting (CCD).
• Release wiring drawings as part of a Build To Package (BTP).
• Document parts listing and versioning data for wiring changes.
• Develop updates to electrical harness and interconnect architecture for the F-16.
• Apply electrical engineering experience to wiring harness, schematic, and diagram design.
• Use CAD drafting software such as CATIA or similar.
• Create Build-To-Package content including parts list and application list.
• Leverage aerospace platform design experience (F-16/F-35/F-22) when applicable.

Summary:

• Creates Build-To-Package (BTP) content including parts list and application list.

• Applies prior aerospace platform design experience with F-16, F-35, F-22, or similar platforms.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, electronics engineering, or electromechanical engineering is required.

• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience is required.

• 2+ years of experience in wiring harness, schematic, or diagram design is required.

• 2+ years of CAD tool usage with CATIA, Capital, or similar is required.

• 2+ years of Build-To-Package (BTP) creation including parts list and application list is required.

• Experience interpreting and drafting wiring diagrams and schematics is required.

• Experience utilizing CAD drafting software such as CATIA or similar is required.

• Preferred: Previous experience designing on aerospace platforms including F-16, F-35, or F-22.
