Job summary

ePS Packaging is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our North American team to support delivery, installation, and commissioning of projects in collaboration with the DMI and Implementations teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and sign-off.

You will create commissioning plans during site surveys, contribute to software delivery and equipment integration, and prepare cable schedules and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD for electrical design.
• Proficient electrical knowledge to degree level.
• Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Willingness for global travel (passport required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and installations to customer sign-off with the DMI team.
• Work within the Implementations team to ensure software and hardware integration.
• Create and communicate detailed commissioning plans during site surveys.
• Produce cable schedules and electrical drawings as needed.
• Assist with electrical terminations and final connections.
• Support occasional cabling installations and sensor/hardware installation.
• Provide updates to customers and engage in continuous improvement.

About The Role

eProductivity Software is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our North American team to support the successful delivery, installation, and commissioning of projects in collaboration with the DMI and Implementations teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and sign-off

You will work closely with the DMI team to deliver projects and installations through successful completion, operating within the Implementations team to ensure high-quality execution. A key responsibility is creating and communicating detailed commissioning plans during site surveys, with a strong understanding of the software component of the product. This knowledge supports involvement in both the delivery and setup of software, ensuring seamless integration with hardware installations. The role includes supporting the wider team by communicating project updates to customers, as well as producing cable schedules and electrical drawings where required. You will assist with electrical terminations, including taking responsibility for final connections and commissioning activities, and occasionally support cable installations and the installation of sensors or other hardware on machinery.

In addition, you will work closely with Customer Success teams to resolve issues reported by customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. You will proactively engage with colleagues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, providing regular feedback to the DMI team on enhancements or new business opportunities.

Maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety is essential, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in full compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and risk assessments.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with the DMI team to deliver your projects and installations to successful customer sign off.

Work within our Implementations team.

Ensure a detailed commissioning plan is created and communicated to the customer as part of the Site survey. Understanding the software part of the product is vital to this.

Having a software understanding also allows you to be involved in the delivery and set-up of the software.

Support the overall team communicating their projects to customers.

Work to create cable schedules and electrical drawings for the installation of projects where necessary.

Assist with electrical termination where required including being responsible for completing final terminations and commissioning.

Assist on occasion with cabling installations.

Install sensors/other hardware items to machines on occasion.

Help our Customer Success teams to resolve issues reported by customers.

Proactively engage with the team to continually review and recommend improvements.

Provide regular feedback to the DMI team on recommended improvements or new opportunities.

Ensure you and the team are always working in a safe manner, adhering to the customers and EPS’s H&S rules and Risk Assessments.

Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Experience of Auto-Cad systems for Electrical Design desired.
• Ability to assist in the design of electrical panels.
• Clean Driving License.
• Valid Passport & willingness for global travel.
• This role carries a minimum travel requirement of 50%
• Proactive, enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient Electrical knowledge (To Degree Level).
