The Electrical Engineer provides expertise within the department for electrical/electronic systems for Ditch Witch and Subsite branded products. Primary duties include supporting existing products currently in the market. Individual will work closely with the development team, production, customer support, supply chain to support and sustain production of products. Scope will include, but not be limited to, hardware and embedded software features and functionality.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Collect and analyze technical information from a variety of sources, including:
• conversations with engineers, product managers, suppliers, etc.
• technical documents.
• operation of equipment.
• their own tests & experiments
• Maintain design concepts for circuits and systems, involving analog and digital design techniques and interface sensors with microcontrollers/microprocessors.
• Design, implement and test electrical circuits to demonstrate compliance with specifications.
• Prepare technical design and production documentation.
• Define measurement techniques, tuning procedures, and special test fixtures for production use.
• Serves as an expert within the department for a design related field and provides consulting to others on technical matters.
• Coordinates product sustaining activities with other personnel, including the flow of information and documentation to other departments.
• Evaluates feasibility and applicability of newer technologies and methods to existing products and designs.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related engineering field
• Engineer I: 0 - 2 years of experience
• Engineer II: 2 - 4 years of experience
• Engineer III: 5-7 years of experience
• Engineer IV: 7+ years of experience
• Willing to learn Python, C, and other programming languages as needed
• Works well in a team environment
• Good problem-analysis and resolution skills

Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $66900 - $130000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
