Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Advantage Technical is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire role at a leading global company that deploys subsea fiber optic cables. Join a team that ensures reliable, high-speed connectivity for enterprises, governments, and communities worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, PLCs, and HMI systems.
• Support plant power distribution, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and data acquisition systems.
• Perform electrical design, modifications, instrumentation upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Arc Flash analysis, safety labeling, and compliance with GMP, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and UL standards.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and production output.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, industrial drives, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, Arc Flash analysis, and LOTO procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
