Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Manchester, NH (On-Site) to develop and validate electrical designs for unmanned and embedded systems. You will work closely with mechanical, software, and program management teams to bring designs from concept to production release.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2–4 years of experience, proficiency with OrCAD/Allegro, and ability to obtain security clearance.

Job description

Electrical Engineer — Manchester, NH (On-Site)

A defense technology company building advanced unmanned and embedded systems is hiring an Electrical Engineer to take designs from concept through R&D, validation, and production release.

• Contribute to the electrical architecture of unmanned and embedded systems, working across mechanical, software, systems engineering, and program management, plus suppliers and customers.
• Own detailed design work including battery-powered systems, analog and digital circuits, motor control, power and signal integrity analysis, high-speed data interfaces, and EMC/EMI-conscious practices.
• Support PCB component placement and layout for compact, high-density, low-SWaP designs, and work with vendors on stack-up development and design reviews.
• Validate through simulation, prototype bring-up, and testing; troubleshoot electrical and system-level failures to root cause; maintain schematics, test procedures, and manufacturing packages.

What you'll need:

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, 2 to 4 years of experience

ECAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation (OrCAD, Allegro)

Hands-on system integration, debugging, and lab test equipment

Basic soldering and hardware rework skills

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration

U.S. Citizenship (must be eligible for Top Security Clearance)

Nice to have:

• FPGA and SoC platforms from Xilinx, Lattice, or Microchip, with VHDL or Verilog
• High-speed interfaces including MIPI, LVDS, SERDES, and DDR
• Embedded hardware for battery-operated systems using SPI and I2C
• PCB layout depth: controlled impedance routing, microvias, EMC-aware design
• Military or ruggedized design and test experience, especially compact electro-optical systems
