The role involves working with tenure engineers to execute clearly defined tasks across controls hardware, controller, display, software, testing, and documentation, contributing to new product development.

Responsibilities include documenting designs, selecting components, assisting BOM creation, and participating in verifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 3+ years professional electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD software, preferably AutoCAD Electrical.
• Understanding of NEC wiring practices, instrumentation signals, and safe work practices.
• Ability to create and maintain BOMs and communicate clearly in written documentation.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for builds, testing, and commissioning support.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will support the electrical hardware design, integration, and programming of control systems for various equipment and related equipment. This role involves working under the guidance of tenure engineering staff to implement well-defined tasks across controls hardware, controller, display, software, testing, and documentation. The position contributes to new product development for equipment.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software, with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.
• Understanding of electrical wiring practices per NEC, instrumentation signals, and safe work practices.
• Ability to create and maintain BOMs and communicate clearly in written documentation.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for builds, testing, and commissioning support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with control panels, instrumentation/sensors, VFDs, EC fans, fan array systems, or DX refrigeration controls.
• Exposure to electrical design related to HVAC OEM manufacturing.
• Familiarity with UL 508A control panel requirements and equipment safety standards.
• Experience with unit controllers or PLCs and building management system communication protocols.
