Job summary

KLA is seeking a hardware-focused engineer to join the electrical design group in Milpitas, CA, to develop, integrate and sustain electronic hardware for eBeam review and inspection tools.

You will collaborate with Analog and Digital EE, firmware, software, and mechanical engineers to design and develop robust electronic hardware, contributing to high-quality inspection solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with related internship experience.
• Strong experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis and simulation.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be working in the electrical design group to develop, integrate and sustain electronic hardware for eBeam review and inspection tools.

Group/Division

The Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells KLA's product portfolio to help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards for technologies like AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics. The e-Beam division plays a critical role in KLA's inspection ecosystem, with tools that deliver high-resolution, timely insights into defects and critical locations on the wafer. Used alongside KLA's patterned and bare wafer inspectors, e-Beam systems help our customers quickly identify and understand yield-impacting issues-enable faster, more effective actions to correct the manufacturing process.

• - Self-motivated team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Level Degree and previous directly related intern work experience
