Job summary

Job Description

• Experience with both digital and analog design. VHDL experience preferred.
• Ability to perform initial board bring-up and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hardware/firmware/software integration.
• Understanding of configuration management, requirements traceability and related processes.
• Understanding of embedded software programming (C language) is a plus.
• Ability to design, analyze, troubleshoot and test electronics.
• Experience in writing reports and test procedures.
• Experience performing validation and verification of requirements while ensuring conformance to DO-254 processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (EE, CE or CS); Master's Degree preferred
• At least 3 years experience in the design, development and qualification of aerospace electronics
• MUST know data communications protocols.
• Written and verbal communication.
• Experience with VHDL design and verification.
• Knowledge of DO-178B and DO-254 standards preferred.
• Ability to travel (including outside the U.S.) up to 25%.
