Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer in Londonderry, NH, to design and develop embedded hardware from concept through production release. You will create schematics, BOMs, and work with PCB layout while leading RF hardware development including antennas and EMI/EMC optimization.

Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in analog/digital design, know RF principles, and experience integrating COTS components into complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical hardware from concept to production release.
• Create schematics, select components, develop BOMs, and work with PCB layout.
• Design mixed-signal circuitry including analog, digital, power management, sensor interfaces, and motor control.
• Lead RF hardware development, including antenna integration, impedance matching, filtering, shielding, and EMI/EMC optimization.
• Define and integrate communication systems for command/control, telemetry, video transmission, and networking.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, validation testing, and root cause investigations during prototype and production phases.
• Partner with firmware, software, systems, and mechanical engineering teams to optimize overall system performance.
• Provide engineering support through manufacturing, including design updates, documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies and contribute to system architecture decisions for next-generation products.

Job description

• Create schematics, select components, develop bills of materials (BOMs), and work closely with PCB layout throughout the design process.
• Design mixed-signal circuitry including analog, digital, power management, sensor interfaces, and motor control systems.
• Lead RF hardware development, including radio selection, antenna integration, impedance matching, filtering, shielding, and EMI/EMC optimization.
• Define and integrate communication systems supporting command and control, telemetry, video transmission, and networking.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, validation testing, and root cause investigations during prototype and production phases.
• Partner with firmware, software, systems, and mechanical engineering teams to optimize overall system performance.
• Provide engineering support through manufacturing, including design updates, documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience designing mixed-signal electronic hardware for embedded or electromechanical systems.
• Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with schematic capture, component selection, PCB development, and BOM creation.
• Working knowledge of RF design principles, including antennas, transmission lines, impedance matching, filtering, and wireless communication systems.
• Experience integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components and third-party hardware into complex embedded systems.
