Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a hybrid role in Lexington, KY. You will design utility-scale battery energy storage systems, develop electrical packages, and collaborate across renewable energy, substations, and power delivery disciplines.

The role requires 4+ years in electrical engineering, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and strong communication. Onsite for onboarding with hybrid flexibility thereafter, offering ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with BESS, renewable energy, substations, transmission and distribution, or power systems.
• Experience developing electrical design packages, one-line diagrams, and construction documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers.

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a nationally recognized engineering and infrastructure consulting firm supporting some of the most exciting work happening across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy, substations, transmission, and power delivery.

What Youll Do

• Evaluate energy storage technologies and vendors

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
