The Substation Engineering department is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of distribution substation construction projects and for supporting the resolution of non-routine technical and operational reliability issues. Engineers in this department routinely work with third party engineering firms and internal field technicians to improve or expand the reliability and capability of the regional power delivery system at the interface between power transmission and power distribution.
The position will be filled at the appropriate level depending on the candidates experience level: Engineer I, II, III or Principal.
The position can be located in Louisville or Lexington, KY based on the candidate's preference.
Required Education
ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
