Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, process improvement, and maintenance support for chemical production, utilities, and manufacturing.
• Design, plan, and implement electrical equipment layouts and control systems based on pilot plant data.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to identify root causes and ensure safe operations.
• Evaluate equipment from motor starters to high voltage systems and lighting design.
• Manage multiple capital projects with sound process economics and stakeholder updates.

Position Summary

We are looking for a driven Electrical Engineer to join our Project Engineering Group in Batesville, Arkansas.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our world-class specialty chemicals and biofuels manufacturing facility, working alongside a dedicated team of engineers and technologists. Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical technical assistance, process improvement, and manufacturing support for chemical production, utilities, and maintenance.
• Design, plan, and implement new electrical equipment layouts and control systems based on pilot plant data.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation problems to identify root causes and ensure safe, continuous operations.
• Evaluate and specify a wide range of electrical equipment, from motor starters and VFDs to high voltage power systems and lighting design.
• Manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, applying sound process economics to determine feasibility and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school.
• A strong interest or proven experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• A highly motivated, self-directed approach with creative problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and lead.
