Electrical Engineer

The company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. As part of their mission to create smarter places for learning, you will analyze, design and document building electrical systems for K-12 and Higher Education clients throughout Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of experience and licensure.

Responsibilities:

• Support the company with the design of complex electrical systems
• Assist early design efforts with facility assessments and master planning
• Lead the preparation of 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using Revit
• Prepare documents, and calculations for ComCheck and LEED certification processes
• Lead electrical design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines and clients
• Performance of contract administration duties such as site visits, submittal review and contractor assistance

• Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Analysis
• Construction Observation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience in building design
• Knowledge of industry software, Revit, Visual, Bluebeam
• Ability to work well with a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
