Responsibilities:
Utilize engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to create and refine hardware designs, specifications, and architectures for various test stations and systems, ensuring alignment with program requirements and objectives
Analyze customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications needed
Develop high‑level and detailed designs consistent with these requirements and specifications
Support supplier management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services such as fabrication
Integrate products for new systems as well as upgrades to existing equipment in STL as at remote locations
Validate designs through various methods of analysis, peer review, standalone testing
Provide engineering support to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of these and existing System Integration Lab (SIL) products
Basic Qualifications:
BS Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, mathematics or physics
Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Aerospace Industry
