Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Grovetown, GA to own and develop electrical system requirements and release embedded components for client production systems. You will create BOMs, collaborate with suppliers, and support builds across the product development cycle.

The role involves working with test groups to coordinate testing of electrical components and agricultural machines, leveraging 3D CAD tools and CAN interface expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics/Agricultural Engineering.
• 3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, harness integration, component development, or testing experience.
• Experience with wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools.
• Experience leading design/test work performed by remotely located team members.
• Proficient in electrical test tools such as Multimeter, Ammeter, and Oscilloscope.
• Knowledge of J1939 CAN and CAN interface tools such as Vector tool - CANcaseXL.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Specific Position Requirements

Major Job Responsibilities

1. Own and develop electrical system requirements (hardware and/or software) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
2. Develop and release electrical system/embedded components in the client production system
3. Create and organize bills of material for electrical systems on client vehicles
4. Work with outside suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integration
5. Provide build support at various stages throughout the product development cycle
6. Work with test verification and validation group to plan, coordinate, and perform testing on electrical components and agricultural machines.

Experiences and Education

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics/Agricultural Engineering.
2. 3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, harness integration, component development, or testing experience
3. Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools
4. Experience leading design/test work performed by remotely located team members
5. Experience with developing or testing electrical component, wiring harnesses, schematics, and a good understanding of software/hardware interaction
6. Proficient in electrical test tools such as Multi-meter, Ammeter, and Oscilloscope.
7. Good knowledge of electrical and electronic controls, components, and troubleshooting.
8. Experience in vehicle or component level electrical software validation is a plus.
9. Knowledge of J1939 CAN and use of CAN interface tools such as Vector tool - CANcaseXL.
10. Self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, good character and work well in team environment.

Notes

1st shift - 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Metatarsal safety shoes are required on their first day.
