Responsibilities

• Design lighting, power systems, and fire alarms for mission-critical facilities
• Prepare electrical drawings and specifications
• Review submittals
• Conduct field surveys to verify existing electrical installations
• Develop single-line diagrams and floor plans from field surveys
  
  

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience
• Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience in the design of large commercial buildings such as data centers and mission-critical facilities
• Strong writing and communication skills
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with BIM and Revit is a plus
• EIT certification
• Specific experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, or other large commercial buildings
• Proficiency in creating construction documents including floor plans, one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, section details, and panel schedules
  
  

Work Environment

This is a full-service engineering firm with a team of 30 people. The work schedule includes 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. Day-to-day tasks include designing in AutoCAD, conducting site visits, and interacting with architects and other clients. The company offers fully paid medical insurance, 12 paid holidays, 15 days of PTO, a 10%-15% production bonus for all employees, a 401k match of 3%, and flexible work schedules.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
